Practitioners are often accumulating vicarious trauma throughout the course of our work - in many ways, that’s the nature of the job. However, we’re not always well positioned to work through vicarious trauma in healthy and collective ways.

Often, there is a focus on individual healing/sorting it out.

Often, it is framed as an individual personal responsibility to sort out YOUR vicarious trauma.

Often, the answer is “practitioner wellbeing” advice like “go for a walk”, “take a bath”, etc.

This resource suite is about giving practitioners some information and tools to work through the trauma responses that we experience through the course of simply doing our jobs.
